Adriana joined BIC in 2024 as a Senior Program Associate for Child Rights. She works to strengthen how multilateral development banks prevent and respond to child sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEA/H).
Before joining BIC, Adriana worked across government, international organizations, and civil society to advance access to justice. As Policy Advisor to Mexico’s Secretariat for Human Rights, she coordinated reparation measures for survivors of sexual violence. She later served as a consultant for USAID, providing technical guidance to local authorities in Mexico on human rights investigations. Adriana holds a Master’s in Development Studies, specializing in Human Rights, Gender, and Conflict, from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Law Degree from the University of the Américas Puebla.
We support our partners in combining research, monitoring, and strategic engagement to track project implementation, amplify community concerns, and push institutions to address gaps and risks.
