The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was founded in 1966 with the goal of eradicating poverty in the region. As part of this mission, it provides a variety of services to its members, including providing loans and equity investments as well as technical assistance for the planning and execution of development projects, programs and advisory services. The ADB also assists in developing policies and plans for development in member countries.
