Guatemala COVID-19 Response

The Guatemala COVID-19 Response Project is part of the World Bank Group’s support for Guatemala’s Government to rapidly address the pandemic emergency by identifying, isolating, and providing care for patients with COVID-19 to minimize disease spread, morbidity, and mortality. The project aims to implement effective communication campaigns for mass awareness and education of the population to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Project components include strategies to strengthen the capacity of the public health system to provide intensive care and the elaboration of communication, coordination, and social participation plans to control the spread of COVID-19.
