The World Bank hosted a panel discussion on the “Economic Cost of Homophobia,” featuring a study that measures the economic impact of excluding LGBT communities in India.
Dr. M.V. Lee Badgett, Professor of Economics at University of Massachusetts-Amherst, presented the preliminary findings of the study.
