The Inclusive Education Checklist highlights key elements of an inclusive World Bank education project. Education projects have not gotten the attention they deserve at the World Bank Board of Executive Directors in the past, and the Checklist is a tool to help raise the profile of education projects at the Board level. The Checklist will help to spark conversation at the Board about what inclusive education projects look like, who could be left out if projects are not inclusive, and what needs to change to design inclusive projects moving forward. This can also serve as a tool for task team leaders to ensure fundamental aspects of inclusion are captured at the design stage and can be a companion piece to the forthcoming Inclusive Education Resource Guide the World Bank Education Global Practice is putting together.
