Nepal Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project

​​The Nepal Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project is a $450 million infrastructure project approved by the World Bank on June 10, 2020. According to project documents, the project aims to improve the efficiency and safety of select transport infrastructure, improve the efficiency of cross-border trade, and strengthen the capacity for Strategic Road Network management in Nepal. It is being implemented by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies.
