Naina joined the Bank Information Center in June 2022 as a Social Inclusion Intern. She is currently a Social Inclusion Fellow and supports the social inclusion team on their Child Rights Campaign, Disability Rights Campaign, SOGI Campaign, as well as other areas of work.
Naina is a current student at the University of California, Los Angeles, pursuing her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor’s of Science in Statistics and Data Science. She is passionate about furthering equity and human rights, and is simultaneously interested the intersection of quantitative data analysis and regulatory compliance. Naina is keen on exploring how data analytics can be applied to issues of social justice, particularly in the development finance realm. She has previously interned for the United Way of Santa Cruz and helped develop and execute their response to the Black Lives Matter Movement in 2020.
Naina anticipates graduating in 2025 and hopes to pursue her Juris Doctorate after graduation.
