Claire joined BIC in 2021 as a Program Assistant to support our work on accountability, environment, and communications. She is passionate about promoting greater transparency and inclusion in development projects and pushing MDBs to meaningfully implement their social and environmental safeguards.
Prior to joining BIC, Claire interned with the World Bank Inspection Panel where she assisted the Panel Secretariat with case research and drafted an advisory note on Biodiversity Offsetting. She has also extensively researched the migration-development nexus and the use of development as migration management in Central America.
Claire graduated from Arcadia University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. While completing her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad in South Africa, Cuba, Chile, the United Kingdom, and Liberia.
