Kendall Chan joined the Bank Information Center in 2023 as a Child Rights Associate, supporting BIC's mission to hold multilateral development banks accountable to their obligations to respect, protect, and fulfill children's rights.
Kendall brings a research and policy background specializing in the strengthening of social protection systems for young children and families. She has worked for increased institutional accountability, expanded civic participation, and the rights of women and girls throughout her time in roles at organizations such as the U.S. Government Accountability Office and the Georgia Women's Policy Institute.
Kendall holds a Masters in Peacebuilding and Mediation from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where her academic interests included community-led peace efforts, the politics of crisis, and the role of gender in international financial institutions. She received her B.A. in history and political science from Emory University.
