Coco joined the Bank Information Center in 2020 to support BIC’s advocacy efforts around children’s rights accountability at the World Bank. Coco works to ensure the World Bank includes age appropriate measures to prevent and respond to child sexual abuse throughout its projects and policies. Coco also helps foster partnerships and raise the profile of child rights and child protections issues throughout the World Bank.
Coco has a passion for ensuring that every child has human rights and is free from harm. She has advised on national, regional, and global policy issues around children’s rights, the Sustainable Development Goals, human rights, social accountability, justice reforms, citizen-generated data, conflict-affected and fragile states, and participatory accountability. Before joining BIC, Coco worked to advance advocacy campaigns and communications strategies for Save the Children, UNICEF, and Namati in Asia, Africa, and the United States.
Coco received her master’s degree in global affairs from New York University and holds a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Middlebury College. She was also a two-time recipient of the Princeton in Asia Fellowship.
